Each year, KSNO seeks to emphasize the contribution of Kansas school nurses by recognizing nurses who demonstrate excellence, professionalism, and leadership in their professional role. Award categories include School Nurse of the Year, School Nurse Administrator of the Year, and School Nurse Emerging Leader.
KSNO also recognizes one or more school administrators who advocate for child/student well being and advocate for the delivery of school health services.
